Introductions

Welcome to the Voices of Educators in COVID-19 Research Action Project! We are two educators who are caregivers to school age children interested in documenting the unique needs of K-12 public educators in the United States, and translating those needs into actionable policies and campaigns for local, state, and federal governments. We hope to attract a wide variety of educators - diverse in grade level, background, location - and encourage you to spread the word to your personal networks!

For now, we will reach out to educators to set up preliminary screening interviews, and we will send bi-weekly prompts to document your experiences. We will then convene educators in 90 minute sessions every 3 months. We will summarize these experiences on this password-accessible site, and work towards policy recommendations, op-eds, webinars, and other actionable outputs to address longstanding problems in public education.
