This meeting will discuss changes from the fall and winter semester; both in the classroom and in the buildings. How have those in buildings been able to maintain safety and compliance to all health standards? How have those teaching virtually been able to sustain morale? What are the takeaways for education policy?

In this January meeting, we will discuss and reflect upon the events of fall (openings, protests, closures, election), and what impact this has on educator needs and educator possibilities. We will talk about what is happening in the virtual and in-person classroom, as well as the role administrators can take in this project.

This will be the initial gathering of educators from across the nation who are either in school facilities, educating or working remotely, or some combination of both. In addition to fostering a healthy discussion of current needs and challenges, we hope to begin identifying some shared goals, values, and visions for the outcome of this project.
